A rainbow spreads out across the sky.
It serves as a reminder of a promise made long ago.
Gray clouds billow as far as you can see.
They try to darken your mood.
But as your eyes follow them you finally discover a break.
The light floods through.
A message from above.
A reminder of hope.
You hear the sound of rain drops dancing on the windows.
They seem so happy to have made their journey.
They create their own one-of-a-kind lullaby.
Lightening begins to dance.
It creates its own musical before your eyes.
You can't help but to wait for the next burst of light.
And as if these things weren't all enough....
There are puddles.
Lots and lots of puddles.
So thankful to "just be" today.
With the dark skies and the rain.
